ALL London organises webinars for the MFL community and this webinar, held in a Zoom room and also viewable on an unlisted YouTube stream, is open to all MFL teachers.  We hope that you will like us and want to join!

With Summer 2023 assessments on your minds, we wanted this opportunity to walk ALL members through some important aspects of the Pearson Edexcel assessments and the support we have on offer:

  • Preparing for GCSE and GCE Speaking exams
  • GCSE Paper 4 Writing ‘optionality’ amendment
  • Overview of the GCSE accessibility amendments for French, German and Spanish
  • Post-exam series support: grading, examiner reports etc
  • Introduction to our new Subject Advisor, Rebecca Waker
  • Introduction to our GCSE 2024 draft qualification and how you can find out more.

Sharon Czudak is a Senior Development Manager for MFL at Pearson Edexcel, where she has worked for 10 years. Her role encompasses the management of the research and development of all MFL qualifications, across GCSE and A level. 01:20:56 Rebecca Waker: The grade boundaries may be lower or higher, as with any other year. However, the proportion of students achieving each grade will be more generous than 2019 but lower than 2021.
