USING POWERPOINT AND THE INTERACTIVE BOARD IN THE SPANISH LESSON

9.30	Registration & tea/coffee and biscuits – the Spanish committee will be there to welcome you!
10.00-11.30	‘USING POWERPOINT IN THE SPANISH LESSON – Francisco Villatoro (Creator of fantastic Spanish resources on www.languagesonline.org.uk and popular speaker) shares some inspiring practice using this popular software to enhance language teaching. Lots of examples and step-by-step process to enable you to create your own resources.
11.30-11.45	Comfort break
11.45 -13.00	"GETTING THE MOST OF YOUR INTERACTIVE BOARD" – Francisco Villatoro and Cristina Sánchez (member of ALL’s Spanish Comittee) tell us about the endless possibilities of using the SmartBoard in the Spanish classroom using the SMART software as well as other software packages.
13.00- 13.30	Refreshments – wine and nibbles – active ‘networking’! – issue of INSET certificates

As refreshments are provided and there is a limit on places available, we need to know IN ADVANCE how many people are intending to attend. There are 30 places, and pre-paid booking will guarantee you a place. You must telephone our secretary if you have not pre-paid and you are planning to come. Please send in the application form below to Alison Owen, along with payment by Friday 20^th October; otherwise send an email with the information to her, but be aware that you will only get a place after those who have paid in advance. We will publish numbers attending on the home page of the website so that you know how full we are getting!

PLEASE NOTE: To cut down costs and administration time, we won’t send confirmation unless you particularly ask for it... assume you have a place if you have paid unless you hear otherwise!
