Peter Boaks, Director of
CILT, (seen here presented with a
gift from the committee in recognition of his support for the branch both
morally and nutritionally), who retired in September 2004, but continued to
work for and on behalf of languages within ALL. It was with great
sadness that we learnt of his death in September 2005. We shall
always remember him as a great friend of the branch. We have included
a page with examples of tributes from
members of our committee. |

David Buckland has
given distinguished service over many years to MFL as a teacher, adviser,
trainer and writer. News of his death came as a great shock,
and we have included a page with tributes paid to him by the mflresources
community and others here. |
