ISMLA Annual Conference 2007

ISMLA kindly invite a representative of ALL to attend their annual conference.

Helen was that representative this year!

She enjoyed meeting the welcoming chairman (Duncan Byrne), committee, delegates (including those who are also members of ALL) and members of the school (including the highly efficient prefects who guided us), listening to the talks (including Professor David Crystal, newly appointed Patron of ALL, and Mike Ullmann, who spoke at our event last year), meeting the exhibitors, eating the delicious lunch .... and she picked up quite a few 'tips' about running successful events. 

She also tried to take some photos of the fantastic surroundings .. these are the ones that weren't too blurred, and which were taken with more or less the correct light setting!
